Dangerous Libation (204/366)

I'm attending a really neat conference this week, and we were all given welcome packets that included these cute little water bottles — they were giveaways at a local event a couple of years ago.   It's hot and muggy here, so I've been filling my new water bottle and schlepping it along with me from seminars to roundtable discussions, drinking in the sweet nectar of life.

The bottles are from a couple of years ago, though, and they're a suspicious hard plastic that I can't be entirely sure is not the same hard plastic that was recently recalled.   Would a bunch of leftover water bottles in a back closet really have been remembered during the water bottle scare a couple of months ago?   It's hard to tell by looking.

It's so pretty, though, and the water it holds for me is so sweet and fresh, that it's hard to believe it's anything but benevolent!

It's hard to trust plastic nowadays, isn't it? Pretty and easy as it is...
