Rain (69/365)

I really like this one. Isn't it great how sometimes when a paved surface is ENTIRELY wet, it can actually serve as an additional palette of colors? Here the rainy road has really amplified the yellows from all the lights, meaning that there is actually more light reflected UP from the ground, which of course is the exact opposite from how we typically see outdoor and landscape compositions. I especially like the lone personal figure in the foreground, and how you let your shutter speed slow enough to make that figure blurry and in motion (even though other CARS are actually more static in this case). And, the way you have the intersection of more than two roads allows for a great look at a broader city-scape with lots of angles. Well done. I love it!
